Office 365 for Students!
The Rutherford County School District is pleased to announce that beginning in September 2015 we will be able to provide all high school students access to Microsoft Office 365 for Education. Students will have anytime, anywhere access to Microsoft Office Web Apps as well as One Drive document storage, and the Outlook Email Web App in a monitored email environment. Students will be able to download Microsoft Office for free at home as well. Students must return a signed, completed Acceptable Use Policy (part of the Parent Checklist) in order to receive this free account. These forms were sent home through fourth period classes at the beginning of the school year. New students receive a copy of the form upon registration. During the month of September, students were given an overview of the account and an explanation of RCS guidelines. They also received a brochure with additional details. Additionally, a letter was sent home to parents. If you have questions or concerns about your student using Office 365 please contact Cindy Evans, instructional technology coach.
